  Filmoplast-P for mending paper . A highly transparent mending tape suitable for invisible dry mending of tears in documents, pages, maps etc. Made of very thin, acid-free tissue coated with a self-adhesive. Tested by the Federal Institute for Materials Testing who reported a pH of 8.8 on unaged tape and 8.1 on aged material. To use simply place a length of tape over the tear and burnish with a bone folder.
